CJ Canterbury's love for children and animals is undeniable! Growing up with her two yellow Labrador Retrievers, her deep connection with them led her to ponder what life would be like if animals could speak - a thought that would one day inspire her to become a writer.

As she grew older, her love for writing only intensified, and she eventually penned the Pawprint Academy series. Through this collection of books, Canterbury has brought her childhood dream to life, immersing young children in a world where dogs and humans communicate and learn from one another.
