VANDA KYS pochádza z Bratislavy, kde sa narodila, študovala a žije s prestávkami dodnes. Po tom čo vyštudovala marketing a mediálnu komunikáciu, sa vrhla rovno do praxe ako redaktorka Televíznych novín.
Chuť objavovať televízny svet ju však odvial z tejto cesty, a tak si vyskúšala aj rolu dramaturgičky a scenáristky rôznych reality show v komerčnej televízii.

Jej debutový počin Také klišé! dostal veľa pozitívnych ohlasov, čo ju len nakoplo k tvorbe nových príbehov. Jej druhá kniha Mňa si nekúpiš sa ocitla v online rebríčku ako 4. najlepšie hodnotená kniha roku 2019.

Autorka Vanda Kys sa drží filozofie, že ak sa jej výtvor dotkne čo i len jedného človeka, malo to zmysel.
