Tye Langston

Dr. Tye Langston is a scientist and engineer who works for the Navy in research and development of diving and expeditionary forces technologies. He has a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering, a Professional Engineer license in Mechanical Engineering, and is also an Associate Professor at Florida Atlantic University.

But more than anything, Tye is an adventurer at heart. Most of his life’s spare time and money have been spent exploring new places, both above and below sea level. Tye has always preferred to travel crudely (sometimes to the chagrin of his wife, Christy). Backpacking on a shoe-string budget to off-the-beaten-path destinations is his modus operandi.
