Laura K. Murray is the Minnesota-based author of more than 80 published or forthcoming books for young readers. Her creative writing and poetry have been featured in River Valley Woman, The Talking Stick, Mankato Poetry Walk & Ride, and elsewhere. She loves learning from her readers and helping them find their reading superpowers!
Ash (who writes as “A.M.”) wears many hats, though she favors the dark gray cable knit beanie from Amazon, most. A descendant of Romanian immigrants, she grew up in a family that fostered all forms of creation, the guiding force which led her towards her careers as an author + blogger, book designer + graphic artist, and certified nutrition + lifestyle coach.
She lives in Beer + Cheese Land, Wisconsin with her real-life superhero husband, loud-mouth + drool-bucket coonhound, and I’m-allergic-to-myself cat, but frequently spends a fortnight (or two) in the fictional world of Skyrim (add her on the PlayStation Network: supersmaaashley).

I’m a long-time freelance writer who’s always been a child at heart. Inspired by the countless stories I’ve shared with my children and grandchildren, I craft tales designed to entertain, spark the imagination, and instill values like kindness, courage, empathy and perseverance. Having lived and worked in various locales, including the U.S. Northeast, North Carolina, and London, England, I now reside in Tampa, Florida, with my wife, Catherine.

Marc Polett loves writing and storytelling and was inspired to write Lily's Wondrous World by his wife’s love of animals and her unique ability to understand them. Marc was born and raised in scenic Gladwyne, PA, and spent his childhood exploring the parks and trails that are spread throughout the historic town, finding peace in nature.
Marc received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona, where he also studied poetry and creative writing and earned an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Marc began his career in web development and now works in finance. He has experience in graphic design and mobile game development but has found writing to be his favorite form of creative expression.
