S.J. Howland
S. J. Howland is a former intelligence analyst who lived in London before deciding to leave the city and move to Norfolk, where she could see the stars.
Her early life is littered with drafts of books that are best left gathering dust, but one particular story just would not leave her alone until it made it out into the world. The Traveller's Stone is the first book in a five-part series, available through Amazon and the second book, The Lore of the Sea, was released in February 2025.
When she is not wrestling with the characters of Haven, some of whom are entirely uncooperative, she may be found roaming by the sea with her dog and reading everything.

I see my other lives, a career in the Marines, those damn hand-written tests in law school, a business consultant, as if they're stories from a book. I see my books as if I lived there, as if I were friends with the characters. All things we remember are behind us, only those we imagine lie before.
I'm not sure which place I prefer, but I don't have to choose. They live together in my mind. My books have some award nominations, they have bestseller tags across mu -
