Maria Imbalzano is an award-winning contemporary author who writes about strong, independent women and the men who fall in love with them.
A member of New Jersey Romance Writers, Maria has received many honors for her work including the ACRA Readers’ Choice Heart of Excellence Award, the NEST (National Excellence in Story Telling) Award, Still Moments Magazine Readers’ Choice Award, Long and Short Reviews Book of the Month Award, and the Wisconsin Romance Writers Write Touch Readers Award. She was also a finalist for the New England Readers’ Choice Award, the NJ Romance Writers Golden Leaf Award, the RONE Award, the Beverley Award, the Carolyn Award, and the Book Buyers Best Award.

Avis M. Adams lives in Oregon and has had several YA novels released by The Wild Rose Press, as well as a romance novella, Her collection of poetry was released in 2019. She teaches English at Green River College, and belongs to the Flamingos Revised Critique Group, and is an active member of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association and Willamette Writers. She lives in Portland, Oregon, where she writes, hikes, kayaks, gardens, and spends as much time as she can with her granddaughter.
I was born and raised in Ukraine and spent most of my adult life in the USA. I work for a large international organization leading developmental projects in various countries. During my career, I have traveled extensively in Africa, Middle East, Europe, and Asia. I hold a PhD degree in finance from the Kyiv National University of Economics in Ukraine and an MBA degree from Kogod School of Business, American University in Washington DC. I am also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder. I am trilingual in English, Russian, Ukrainian and also speak French and Spanish.
