Marilù Oliva, nata a Bologna, dove vive, è insegnante e scrittrice.
Laureata in lettere moderne con una tesi sulle civiltà precolombiane e specializzata SSIS per l’insegnamento di lettere e di latino, prima di approdare come docente alle scuole superiori ha lavorato per diverse redazioni ed è stata direttrice artistica di una rivista di musica e cultura latinoamericana.
Ha scritto saggi di storia contemporanea e di critica letteraria.
