Greetings, dear readers, I am a thirty-year-old author from Czechia, who writes books from a wheelchair despite Friedreich's ataxia heavily limiting his daily life. However, the disease cannot limit my dreams, unless I let it. And with significant help from my amazing family, I am making my dreams come true,

I grew up on fantasy. I fell in love with the escapism it offers you. In the stories, you don't have to care about anything in the "real world". I needed this to get through those difficult years without going insane.
I am old now. My approach to life has changed, my love for fantasy has not. So my first book had to be fantasy, of course.

Tim was born in Zimbabwe. He spent his early childhood there and in Hong Kong, returning to the UK age eight to attend boarding school, which he describes as ten years of hell. He spent his school holidays in West Germany becoming interested in that country’s turbulent history. A visit, age twelve, to the site of the former concentration camp inspired his article A Brief History of Bergen Belsen. Before moving into adult education, Tim worked in the IT sector.
