Johnny J Moye
Johnny J Moye was born and raised in Madison, Indiana. After high school graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served more than 27 years, earning the rank of master chief petty officer. He was stationed at multiple ship and shore commands in Norfolk, Virginia, as well as communication stations in Thurso, Scotland, and Rota, Spain. Among other military awards he received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
Johnny earned his Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy education degrees from Old Dominion University. He has often stated that being a high school technology education teacher was his all-time favorite job.
