I cared for my father, who was living with mixed dementia, for a total of five years. I thought there was a gap in the market for an extremely short and cost effective guide highlighting essential processes for carers of people with dementia and when my father moved into a care home, I made it my goal to write such a book. It was a cathartic experience and I am pleased to have been able to help others navigate what can be the emotional and administrative minefield of caring for a loved one.
