Edward Castle
I always loved games, but as time went on, I started to feel that gaming lacked something. There was too much grinding, weak stories, repetitive mechanics and other annoyances, like the dreaded microtransactions.
I had always loved reading, but eventually the novels I found began to feel stale, they were too cliche to keep me excited to turn the pages.
Then the stars aligned and I found GameLit; it was the perfect blend of my interests, it recaptured the way I had felt when gaming and the fantasy genre. I could follow the story of a character in a world that ran on game rules, whether it be in a parallel universe or full-immersion VR. I could vicariously enjoy all the parts of a game I’d loved, without being subjected to the interminable grin

In addition to his passion for writing, Actus is capable of clearing a two story building with a single jump. That isn't true, but writing about himself in third person gives Actus delusions of grandeur. -

This is just me, talking to you, the reader. I’m no different than you, I love reading and gaming just the same as everybody else.
In fact, I’ve loved reading for as long as I could remember. From the very first fantasy book I read, The Wizard of Earthsea, I was hooked.
For just as long I’ve also been an avid gamer and DND player (as well as other tabletop RPGs). Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Illus -

When he was younger you could almost always find him with a book in his hand (when he wasn’t busy with Band activities that is). As he got older, he started reading online webnovels as well. In June of 2021, after reading thousands of books, he decided to take the plunge and write a book of his own, starting with his first series, Dungeon from the Void.
He writes both high and low progression fantasy novels of varying genres, including Dungeon Core, LitRPG, Cultivation, Sci-Fi and more.

I'm currently writing the Bone knight litRPG series. It's fun to revisit the game worlds I enjoyed when I was young. I grew up with Final Fantasy, Mechwarrior, Dragon warrior (known to many as Dungeon Quest), and X-COM. These games, along with a whole lot of movies and books, have informed what I think is cool: Impossible odds and grave decisions with monumental stakes.
Bone knight book nine, the finale for the series, is currently underway. After that is complete, I have a new litRPG series already planned that should come out in time for Christmas 2022.
Also: Audiobooks are on the way and a Boneknight RPG game is currently in development.
