Christopher Owen lives in Colorado with his wife and two cats. His work has appeared at Daily Science Fiction, Every Day Fiction, Mirror Dance, New Myths and other places. He is a graduate of the Odyssey Writing Workshop and the Yale Summer Writers’ Conference.
Dixon Troyer grew up in Nampa, Idaho, working on farms topping corn, harvesting mint, cattle ranching, and various other summer jobs. He graduated from Brigham Young University with honors in Zoology, Chemistry, and was a member of the intercollegiate rodeo team there. For two decades he worked in television where he produced, directed, and wrote for over 400 aired episodes. Troyer is currently VP of Operations of a boutique gym, and a Krav Maga instructor in Southern California.

My mother's family, the Karems, immigrated to the United States from Becharre, Lebanon in the early 1900s. In Becharre, theMyy, and the town's other inhabitants served as "Keepers of the Cedars of God" for generations. This famous grove was part of the tremendous forests that used to cover most of Lebanon. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, Gilgamesh seeks fame and glory by cutting down the cedar forest. I thought this ancient tension between protectors of the environment and developers made the perfect foil for Ranger Nader & The Sunstruck Phantom, and I hope you will too.
When I'm not writing, i represent people as they navigate the tricky pathways of our legal system. For those who are interested, I have two cats, three children, and one husband.
I was raised in Denver, Colorado and attended Regis Jesuit High School and Regis University. I wrote short stories as a child and always had the desire to write a novel. My military service in the United States Navy helped to inspire some of my characters. I currently reside in Tucson, Arizona with my wife and Trigger (pictured above).
